UL 1659 wire is built with solid or stranded nickel-plated copper, features extruded PTFE insulation, and .020" nom. wall thickness. UL 1659 is used for general appliance wiring and other uses with chemical exposure, temperature extremes, and dielectric stresses. UL 1659 wire has a temperature rating of +250°C and a voltage rating of 600 volts.
